Add a case to your Eggtimer Ion to protect it from flight.
This case fits the Ion perfectly and allows for a 200mah, 1S battery to be added to the case to power the unit. The Ion goes in first, then the seperator, and the battery on top.
Just use a piece of kevlar cord and tie it to your rockets shock cord. You will need a 1S, PL 402035 battery readily available on Amazon.
Made with high quality brass heat set inserts for the lid, by Ruthex, (yes there is a difference).

Since AltimeterThree is out of production, the Eggtimer Ion in this handy case makes a nice substitute. I had to swap the polarity on the battery I ordered but that took about 2 minutes using a pin and the info that Roy sent me.
His customer support is outstanding!
Fits perfectly and is well made.
